Buckley Air Force Base Lodging

Buckley Air Force Base is one of the fastest growing bases in the U.S. Air Force with many projects currently underway at this installation in Denver, Colorado.  Although currently under construction, the Visitor Quarters/Temporary Lodging Facility does not have an estimated date of completion.  Once the Airmen's quarters are fully constructed, the Buckley AFB Lodging Air Force Inn will accommodate some of the transient personnel choosing to stay at base lodging at Buckley AFB.  Browse our Buckley AFB Lodging options off base including hotels and extended stays close to base.

Buckley Air Force Base was founded during World War II when the city of Denver purchased land just east of the city and donated it to the Department of the Army to establish the base for economic improvement of the Denver area.  After the war, the installation became Buckley Air National Guard base which in 2000, was transferred the Air Force to officially become Buckley AFB.  Since becoming Buckley AFB, the installation has seen rapid growth and modernization including enlisted airmen's quarters, a commissary and base exchange, and Buckley AFB family housing.  The Colorado Army National Guard operates the Army Aviation Support Facility at Buckley AFB and manages many of the rotary wing aviation assets.

For short term hotels and interim housing near the base, TDY Lodging has a number of options including extended stays and corporate lodging accommodations within the 2011 government per diem lodging rates for official travel.
